The East Coast Oracle Users Conference (ECO) brings together technical and functional users of Oracle products, including managers, directors, DBAs, developers, application users, and system analysts. The conference is hosted by four user groups: the Virginia Oracle Users Group, the Eastern States Oracle Applications & Technology Users Group, the former Hampton Roads Oracle Users Group, and the Southeastern Oracle Users Group. ECO offers a platform for attendees to learn about the latest Oracle technologies and best practices in a collaborative and engaging environment.
In this presentation, we'll dive into what makes us uniquely human compared to AI and robots. We'll explore traits like our frailty, adaptability, agency, and emotional intelligence, and how these qualities shape our relationships. On the flip side, we'll examine the strengths of AI and robots, such as their efficiency and precision. Even though AI and robots can perform tasks with incredible accuracy, they don't experience growth, decay, or emotional depth the way we do.
The key takeaway is that AI and robots won't outshine us as long as we appreciate and nurture what makes us human. This session is all about using technology to enhance and amplify our lives without losing sight of our unique human qualities. Join us to discuss how we can let AI enhance our humanity rather than replace it.
Solving complex problems on your own can be tough. Having a team of experts can make a big difference, but they're not always available. So, what's the alternative? Enter AI, where a group of specially skilled AIs can lend a hand.
In this talk, I'll show you how to use detailed prompts and domain-specific documents to create AIs with unique skills and personalities.
Then, I'll demonstrate how you can guide these AIs using everyday conversational language to help develop plans for solving specific issues.
First, I'll use ChatGPT to moderate a lively discussion between two AIs, each playing a famous historical figure.
Next, with a downloadable Python program, I'll demonstrate how to set up an AI task force to tackle a complex Oracle application performance problem.
This task force will include experts in areas like Application Design, PL/SQL Tuning, Oracle Database internals, Operating System performance analysis,
Business Analysis, and an Application User.
Join me for this one-of-a-kind presentation to boost your problem-solving toolkit with a team of skilled AIs.
