Troy Ligon is Director of Enterprise Architecture for InComm Payments. With a global presence spanning over 43 countries and annual revenues north of $70billion, InComm Payments is one of the world’s largest privately held financial services companies, facilitating payments and managing a wide portfolio of stored value products.
With a career spanning over 40 years’ IT experience, Troy Ligon has focused on Oracle systems since the early-1980's. In that time, Troy has held senior roles with a variety of Fortune 100 companies, including Vice President of Global Systems at CitiBank, Director of Enterprise Growth Technologies at American Express, Principal Architect of North America at The Nielsen Company, Principal Technical Consultant at IBM, Manager of Database Administration at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and others. Troy ran his own consulting company, Ligon Solutions, travelling the planet for a dozen years, catering to the Financial Services, Public Sector, and Utility Billing markets. Troy is very active in the Oracle community and is a regular speaker at conferences across the country. As President of the Suncoast Oracle Users Group in Tampa, FL, Troy has been hosting monthly presentations since 2006. Troy has volunteered with the Independent Oracle Users Group since 2004 and joined the IOUG Board of Directors in 2015. In 2017, Troy was awarded Oracle ACE status, joining a group of less than 500 individuals worldwide so recognized for their technical expertise and contributions to the Oracle community.
Troy is an avid motorsports fan and spends much of his spare time attending motorsports events around the world. When he’s not architecting large-scale, resilient global systems or hanging out around a racetrack somewhere, you can typically find him on a beach, enjoying the waves.
